Best kit Review by Brian

Working on this kit right now. But I think this kit is one of best kits that I've built so far. My kids even like too.

Master Peice Review by Mark

This is a awesome rocket. Big and bold. Flies up in the sky. Very well thought through. Like the size of it. Stands out in the field.

What's New is Old Review by Frank

I got this kit for Christmas back in 2003 and I still fly it. I have had several engines CATOs and some hard landings but I was always able to repair it. This is a great kit to introduce you to the more advanced building techniques that you will use as you grow to the mid power and eventually high power. Hats of to Estes for bringing back what should not be considered a classic kit. I ended up eventually using the Estes 24 mm engine retention kit and a 28 inch nylon chute. I find that it flies best on Aerotech E20-4 engines. It tends to weather cock with the E9 Estes motors. The best part is that I have another kit still in the package.

Loud and proud Review by Mikey Taco

This rocket is so loud when it launches, but it flies straight and true and it is relitively simple to build.

it hits you how big this rocket is when you open the box. building it is as much fun to me as it is to launch!

A great way to transition into mid-level rocketry Review by Robert

Currently building this. As soon as you take it out of the package, you're struck by how big and powerful it promises to be off the launch pad. Definitely recommend putting a glossy finish on this baby once the initial painting is done so that it shines on the pad and on the shelf. This rocket is a great piece to show off to people who take an interest in your collection - and next to the D-Tomahawk, catches the eye when on display. I look forward to more rockets such as this one in Estes future!

Awesome Review by Craig

Just received the Executioner in the mail today! It looks like a pretty straight forward build,I especially like the throught the tube rocket fin assembly as i'm sure this will add much strength to the rocket fins upon landing! I have purchased the E9-8 estes Engines and am just waiting for their arrival. Has anybody launched this rocket with this motor choice and how high can I expect it to fly on these motors? Any input would be great from you model builders out there! ESTES NOTE: Becuase of the weight and diameter of this rocket, with an E9-8, you should expect to reach somehwere between 600-700 feet.
