This great rocket from the bull-pup 12 is a great rocket to launch (Very Fun)
I built this rocket twice in 2015 and realized one thing that it very important that you have to know when building thing rocket. The center of gravity Is very Important on small rockets especially On this rocket, so make sure when you air foil this rocket (if you do) DO NOT and mean DO NOT make the fillets to big on this rocket or weigh to much and the reason is that it can shift the center of gravity (when it should be very close to the center of the rocket). I made my rocket like this and actually did things I have never seen before in rocketry.
On the most part It was my fault that the rocket did that. I bought this rocket again the following week and built it again just didn't make the fillets weigh so much and didn’t make them to big either and the result was… that rocket had a great normal flight as I would expect. I would recommend this rocket and It is a great rocket to build and fly. Good looking too when finished.

Great little scale rocket

Great rocket, looks awesome, but be careful. Be sure to use something to hold the engine in place (there is no engine hook) because if you don't the engine will move up inside the tube and melt the tail cone. Overall, however, it's great! ESTES NOTE: MASKING TAPE should be applied around engine if engine is not a snug fit.

This is an awesome rocket. It is easy to pack because of the wide tube and it just looks cool!!!
It doesn't have an engine hook so that it looks more realistic, but that isn't a big issue. Just use a little masking tape to hold the engine in if needed. It is a little heavy so even with a C engine it wont go 1000ft. That's a plus for me.
Really, the only reason it is a level 2 build is because of the small fins near the nosecone. Just take your time and its not that bad.

Flying sport models might be easier, but there's something about the way the concept kits and scale models look that make them more fun to build. There's nothing particularly difficult about this build. I suppose lining up the two sets of fins is a bit beyond skill 1, but that's about it. Painting it is as simple as it gets - paint it white! I suppose if there is a hard part, it's getting all the decals placed correctly, but even that isn't terribly hard. Even though it's not a large kit, it is surprisingly heavy, so don't expect 1000' launches (which is a good thing for me and my smallish field). The one oddity of this kit is the lack of an engine hook, which I suppose is to keep the kit looking as realistic as possible. I think I'd rather have the hook, but it's not a deal breaker. Just make sure you friction fit your engines properly.

Great rocket, this was my first rocket as a kid.I built it in science class and was hooked.I kinda fell out of rocketry for awhile and have recently got back into and bought my second bullpup. It has great performance and is an awesome looking rocket. If something happens to this one I'd definitely buy another.

I LOVE my Bull Pup. Actually, I had 2. One I made fully to scale, as designed by Estes. It flew extremely well. So well, I lost in in my neighborhood. Boo. However, the other one I made, I modified to fit a D-12 motor. It flies amazingly well. Fantastic fun to watch shoot into the skies.

THIS IS THE GREATEST KIT I HAVE EVER FLOWN. YEP, THE BULLPUP, A GREAT UTILITY ROCKET. IT MODIFIES WELL AND FLIES BETTER WITH EVERY TWEAK. IM THINKING OF BUILDING A BIG ONE USING A BT60 TUBE WITH D-12 OR LARGER ENGINES. EXCELLENT KIT.

I love this rocket have 4 of them. Extremely stable platform. Best rocket I've ever flown.

Another Estes scale model I just wish they made more scale models. Great display but more fun to launch.
