  1. awsome rocket Review by christian

great rocket have 1 myself and it is great , actually looks like a real scaled down verson of the airplane and when it launches except going straight up like a crazy mad man, great rocket . shame of it not being produced anymore. (Posted on 7/9/10)

  3. awersome rocket Review by chris

This rocket is the sleekest bird youll ever fly. =) This thing just took of and came back down nice. i would like to get another one thou so if i loose this one i have an extra one. its so nice but it was a very difficult build. to bad its in final production. =( (Posted on 7/1/10)

  4. Most rewarding rocket ever!! Review by Gator

This is one of the best model kits I have built so far.I was getting damage to upper fuselage after a few launches,I am 99% sure this is from shock cord snapping cone back into rocket,so now shock cord is gone and use 2 chutes.1 each for body an cone with a result of NO more damage to this beauty. Its a shame that this rocket is in final production mode now so buy as many as you can afford!!The next one I build will be launched with D an E motors just so we can get as close to Mach like the SR-71 should be LOL. 5. Little problem Review by Matt

After a while the top of the fuselage starts to tear and the nose cone is at a differant angle and doesn't stay on but a little electric tape will do.Thats the only problem I had with mine. (Posted on 6/7/10)

  6. A challenge Review by Steve

My roommate built ( I helped ) this fine looking bird, but it takes a good eye to get everyhing on straight. Build a few others first! His came in way overweight; must have used too much glue, paint and bondo. We elected to leave the engine mount out so it could be flown on C-11 and D motors....Yep its a perfect fit. First flight chased us all over, but landed in snow with no damage. 2nd and 3rd flights were arrow straight and beautiful. Found that bad launch was our fault, Make sure Your lanch rod is perfectly straight and clean of any deposits! Enjoy the challenge. (Posted on 4/4/10)

  7. The Joy of the Build Review by Experienced Builder

If you like to build, this is one to get. From the detail desgin of the pre-cut paper wing wrap, to the fair challenge of aligning the fins and thrusters that makes one stunning Bird when finnished, you will enjoy this model. the SR-71 is a great looking replica in the show case and in flight. My first flight with a B6-4 was a beautiful flight, but with a stiff wind and a C6-3 the second went across the sky just like the real thing. With a chuckle, my buddy and I said "Whadda ya do" Get another one and enjoy it all over again! (Posted on 3/29/10)

  8. Great build Review by SLEVIN

This was a great build! It looks amazing when completed. I'm afraid to damage or lose it so I'm going to build another for flight and keep one for show. I highly recommened this rocket!! (Posted on 3/24/10)

  9. Wonderful Review by Kenny610

I just completed assembly of my first SR71. I was a bit challenging with the long wing roots, but learned a lot from assembling this one. I have built many rockets and this one by far was the most challenging. If you love building rockets, you need to own this one. I haven't launched it yet, but will in the very near future. I would love to be able to upload the video and still pictures. (Posted on 3/22/10)

  10. A must-have for any collection Review by Mongo

I built my first SR-71 blackbird model 20 years ago and it is still one of my favorites. The way the materials come together to form a very sleek rocket makes it fun to build and show. It's also a very stable and flies as well as any model I've owned.

I'm building my second model now with my son - it's a great model work on together. (Posted on 2/28/10)
