I purchased this rocket to introduce my son to rocketry. All I can say is he is HOOKED! He launched this rocket four times with no problems, but on the fifth launch the engine retaining cap came off at some point. When the charge to peploy the parachute went off only the nose cone came off and the engine ejected from the rear. Needless to say the rocket came back down much quicker than the first four times! There was minimal damage which was easily repaired but the ring was lost for good. Moral of the story, make sure the engine retaining ring is on tight. This kit is well worth the cost since you get everything except engines to launch with! (Posted on 8/4/10)

Our first ever rocket ! I built this with my 5 year old son yesterday and launched it after this afternoon. It was brilliant !!!
Just the look on my sons face as he sent his first rocket skyward was great, having never had one I was as excited as him.
The rocket flew straight and true and ejected the canopy all as planned. However the shock cord became detached from the inside of the rocket and we only ever recoverd the tube and fins. So only one launch from this one but worth everyone of the few seconds it lasted. I am now going to search for nose cones, shock codes and parachutes or just new rockets. (Posted on 6/11/10)

We purchased this rocket yesterday, and launched it six times!! We used the A8-3 first, and went up to the B6-4 next. Great launches, and almost all of the neighborhood kids came out to help. We would definately reccomend this rocket!!! Buy it now! (Posted on 4/18/10)
