Estes model rockets aren't just for science class anymore. Use model rocketry to teach social studies, language arts, math, science and technology! Estes Rocket Lab Lessons use a 3 Easy Steps! format that was designed just for model rockets: Step 1 - LEARN; Step 2 - BUILD; Step 3 - LAUNCH.
Estes Rocket Labs (ERL) cover all five subjects and are for Grades 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. There are a total of 45 different lesson plans for one, two and three class sessions. Each lesson includes National Standards correlations, objectives, materials list, background information, activities, assessments, extensions and more.
Lesson aides including PowerPoints, student handouts and a video are also on the DVD. ERL lessons are perfect for individual lessons or to use for cross-curricular learning, too!
