Small But Great Review by Michael

I love this rocket. Before, I thought bigger was better but this rocket made me change my mind.

Fun and Simple Review by Kruegon

This one is an easy, fast build. Great for beginners. Inexpensive kit. Uses inexpensive motors. Be careful though. It can go extremely high. It's easy to lose if you have a small field. Watch it closely and enjoy it.

Bright colors needed Review by Gary

Paint it a bright color, or bring someone with good eyes--it's a very easy rocket to lose. It's a super park flyer, and fun for kids--very little prep before it's launched, and can be launched over and over--if you don't lose it.

Cute little rocket Review by Scott

Great rocket. Surprisingly difficult to build (because of the tiny parts glued to the body by only a few millimeters of contact). Launch on perfectly clear days with lots of spotters available though, if you expect to get it back. I've lost so many of these I've stopped counting!

Buy the mega mosquito kit though, and get one of these free. The mega mosquito isn't all that much more expensive, it's an amazing rocket itself, and you get the mini mosquito as a free bonus!

ONLY USE 1/4 As Review by Ricky

Only use a fourth A when flying this little speed machine. A tryed it on an A 10 3t and it went really high really fast. Never found it at all, but I bet the ejection charge shot it up another hundred feet!

Classic! Review by Brandon

I built several of these years ago when I was a kid and just recently built another one. It's a great low-cost kit for small fields!

The kids were sad when we lost it Review by Karl

It was a fun 1 day build. The kids loved it small stature. It looked really nice. Shot it off the next day with a 1/2A engine and lost it. It was a good launch, everyone was sad that we didn't recover it, and want me to buy another one.

A great little rocket Review by Juliet

This rocket is very small- less than 4 inches high- but it is very powerful, flying up to a height of 800 feet! Even though it is named the Mosquito, I think it should be named the Flea for its size and high potential altitudes. It requires mini engines (which just barely fit inside the rocket's body tube). Carpenter's glue is recommended for putting together this rocket, but I have found that plastic cement actually works very well. The only drawbacks to this rocket are that it is very small, goes very high, and has a "tumble" recovery system (in other words, no recovery system- the body tube is too small to fit anything else besides the engine)- so it may only last a flight or two before you lose it or it breaks.

Fun to build Review by Sean

Fun to build but hard to find it after it went up. Don't get attached to this rocket, it may not come back.
