Great Patriotic model rocket Review by Dave
I built this kit about 6 weeks ago an got my first chance to launch it this weekend. The rocket flew straight and high. First launch was with a Estes A8-3 Engine and Second launch was with the B6-4 Engine. Great rocket to watch lift off the pad. Everything worked like it was suppose to and returned to the ground intact and ready for the next launch. It will go with me to all of our launches. (Posted on 11/26/12)
Great Build and fun to fly Review by Dave
I built this rocket recently and had good conditions to launch. First flight was with an Estes A8-3 Engine. The Patriot flew straight up and landed. Second launch was awesome with the B6-4 Engine. This one will be launched every time I go out to the launch site. It is a 15 acre field. Landed about a 100 feet from the launch site. Fun rocket to build and fly. (Posted on 11/26/12)
A salute to our Military Personell Review by MSA
The patriot is mid-sized, flys straight and is an excellent choice for begininers and scale model rocket builders. The patriot was in developement during Desert Storm and utilized by our nations military during Operation Enduring Freedom. The Estes #7000 Bull Pup 12 (Skill level 2) is another kit to consider after building the Patriot. (Posted on 9/22/12)
what is there not to like about this rocket Review by Bubba
Ever want to own your own piece of ordinance without the price tag? This rocket is great just for that... the patriot has a beautiful flight and even looks good on the shelf when you come home... great flights on c6-3 motors (Posted on 9/16/12)
Very good rocket Review by Jason
After losing my 10 year old Patriot I immediately purchased a new one. It is a must have for all my rocket outings. Flies great on any standard engine and is light weight for it's size. Recommended. (Posted on 8/18/12)
great rocket Review by Mark
I have an older model with longer fins. It is a highly versitile and tough rocket. I once had an engine rupture that would have destroyed another rocket. It flies great on any engine that fits. My personal favorite engine to fly it with is a C6-7. It will hit nearly 1000 ft. with a powerful engine or stay nice and low with a small one. (Posted on 8/8/12)
Here's the secret Review by Glen
I'm going to let you in on my secret of choosing the best rockets.

1. Wider body tube allows the parachute to easily eject.
2. Longer bodies or swept back fins will contribute to stable flights.

That's it! That's why you will read a lot of positive review on the Patriot.

By the way, the color of the actual missiles are OD green. This is the paint scheme of the test missile which is WAY cooler than OD green. But, you can make it more authentic by not applying the decals and spray painting it.

"PATRIOT" is an acronym for "Phased Array Tracking Intercept of Target." This model is of the original rocket that has evolved into what is now the PAC-3, "Patriot Advanced Capability-3." (Posted on 6/19/12)
