These long burn engines should be on your must try list. ....They have a nice long burn and take the rocket out of sight!!Great engine for the Mega Mosquito and Maxi Alpha 3....Nice slow lift off and nice acceleration and nice smoke trail....very realistic.....Do yourself a favor and try some....You will be glad you did.

I once bought a Big Daddy E kit and make the mistake of using a hot glue gun to install the motor mount. The motor burned hot and long enough to melt the glue, forcing the motor mount up into the nose and causing a catastrophic "lawn dart" flight. I was happy to buy another rocket kit (and who wouldn't be?), but I made sure that the next time I used one of these, I used 24-hour epoxy in the motor mount.
That said, this is a very powerful motor that's sure to turn heads at the range. Happy flying!

Quite possibly the best performing, and most reliable motor ever produced. When you want something with slower, graceful acceleration but still need punch and altitude you can track; there is no better black powder motor available. There's a reason so many buy these in bulk....you'll love them!

I am so pleased that Estes released this engine. It has a little lower initial thrust than a D engine, but burns almost 3 seconds!! To me this results in a more dramatic and exciting flight. I have built an entire "E" fleet around this motor and the 6 second delay version.

These engines are powerful enough to lift just about any rocket you could dream up! The Estes E engines also provide some of the longest burn times of any other low power rocket engines. good product estes!

I use one pack on a Scratch built 7ft rocket and they lift that rocket with out a problem.
Great engines !
Thank you Estes !

If you're going to purchase these engines, then I would suggest doing so in a "bulk" or ordering multiple packs at a time. This way you get all the deals. They really are great engines and worth the extra cost

Your D motors are all around 17 dollars for a three pack but your E motors are over 50 dollars for a three pack. Is this correct or is it a misprint? This price if correct makes Aerotech reloads look like a very good deal. ESTES NOTE: E Engines include a haz-mat shipping/handling fee disclosed in the E engine description in a yellow box.

These engines are sure to impress. I wasn't sure if getting them was a good idea at first but after launching my Elminator with them I was glad I made this purchase!
