This was a father/ son project for Cub Scouts. It is a really neat redo of Big Bertha. It launches well and looks super cool when it parachutes back to Earth. I need to build Big Bertha in order to complete the set! (Posted on 8/5/11)

This kit has so many possibilities. You can paint it up in a classic bertha paint scheme, or combine it with other parts to create the classic "Goonybirds" that Estes had in the '70s

This rocket is very easy to assemble. It flies almost perfectly and the parachute prevents it from a fast descent. It is amazing to see how slow they can parachute back down. I painted mine a dark blue color and it looks awesome. (Posted on 6/5/11)
