excellent rocket never fails to deploy parachute

I built the Bandito with my nephew, and we probably spent less that an hour getting it ready to fly. He has moved on, but my 6-year-old son has claimed it as his own. We use a streamer instead of a parachute, making it easier to prep (as others have noted). We also applied a shiny clear coat which improves the looks. It flies great on 1/2A3-2 motors, staying in site and easy to track. I've had to reglue a couple of fins, but otherwise it's a nice little rocket.

I love using these kits when I lead the Space Exploration Merit Badge at merit badge fairs. The kits can be assembled and flown withing the short time frame we have. We cannot use ready to fly because of requirements. These perform very well and are easy for the scouts to assemble. Only thing I would change if I could would be to use streamers instead of chutes. These are great for the experience and time, and costs.

this is a tiny bt20 based rocket with a 12" parachute. It is REALLY difficult to get things packed properly. It is a little tricky to assemble, too, because of the somewhat unusual fin can/motor mount.

I got this rocket for my daughter to put together for her science class. I would recommend this kit for any beginner or for that matter for anybody who is into this hobby. It was very easy for her to understand and follow the instructions and the altitude this rocket reached was awesome. We were both very pleased with the outcome .

I got this rocket after I lost my Firehawk. Me and my friend both had one and really enjoyed it. The color is good and it goes to good heights. One day though it landed in a tall cotton tree shelter belt and all I found where the nose cone and ripped up parachute, but its an awesome rocket.

Flew mine on an A10-3T with a 6" parachute works great except for its last flight the engine exploded and destroyed the recovery system and blew out the motor retainer ring but other than that good rocket

Cool little rocket I put a streamer on mine 12 " parachute bad idea also it is a pain to put together if you have large hands like I do and the narrow body tube makes it a little difficult to prep for launch but still this is my first mini engine rocket i have had since I was 4 years old I am 20 now

VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER FINSHED IN 30 MIN

Pretty easy to assemble, fairly durable. Drift can be an issue --so it might be better with a streamer. The first time my son shot off this tiny rocket, we estimated it hit about 450 ft with an A3-4T engine. Unfortunately, even with the slight breeze, the parachute allowed it to drift almost a quarter mile before finally coming down into some trees outside our launch area. It took a while to get it down, but it stood to the abuse very well, losing no parts.
