Sturdy and dependable rocket. Easy to build and prep for flight. Has a bit of weight so it won't reach the stratosphere, but that helps with recovery. Cut a hole in the parachute to speed decent, this rocket can handle it if you land on grass. (Posted on 12/22/12)
I have one of these for a year now and it always gives me good flights. I also like the way it looks. Seems there is always one or two of these at our club's monthly rocket launches. (Posted on 6/26/11)
This model rocket worked amazingly. I launched it several times and the parachute worked every single time. My favourite launch was the last one I did; I ended up smashing a bird in midair! It was awesome! (Posted on 6/7/11)
I really like the Patriarch. I use the B6-4 motors. I have made 4 lauches so far. Two lauches the parachute deployed fine but the other two did not. deploy, luckly the Patriarch is a tough rocket and there was no damage. I have had a few Estes rockets in the past and noticed that the white rubber bands for the parachute failed and I lost the rocket. is there a better material to make them out of? Over all, great fun!
