Almost got lost Review by Sebastian

This is a great rocket. It flies amazingly well and has a potential of going extremely high. When I built it, I glued it together with hot glue. Don't glue it together with hot glue. I flew it on a B6-4 engine, and found out it had drifted 500 feet over a forest, where it fell apart. I was able to salvage the body tube, the nose cone and the fins, so i was able to put it back together. I am guessing that it heated up (as all rockets do) and melted the hot glue, which made it fall apart. I later purchased an engine mount set and was able to put it back together the right way. Now It is one of my best rockets. (Posted on 5/13/12)

This rocket is an awesome starter and great for just a quick little launch. On my first launch I was amazed at how well it worked.It couldn't have been better.(just fold the parachute right).No crashes at all for me though. All in all, a great everything rocket. (Posted on 1/26/12)

has minimal assembly but enough to introduce my son to the parts of a model rocket. flys GREAT!!! my only complaint is that even with the C6 series motors, it doesnt come anywhere close to the advertised 1100 feet of altitude. but thats fine. it is still a really fun rocket to launch!! Great starter, this rocket is very cool, INCLUDES launcher! That means even better for first rocket buyers! It took relatively little time to build. However when I flew it it disappeared into the clouds. Probably because it was windy and I used a not-recommended engine, probably too high. Hmmm... (Posted on 12/30/11)

a simple alpha Review by John

The alpha rockets have long been a rocketeer's mainstay, and this version makes a very simple introduction to the hobby. It's also great for younger rocketeers with little ability to use hobby knives, glue, paint, etc. It also works for us older folk who can do those things, but would rather start launching than spend too much time building!
