unique Review by Ryan
the crossfire ISX is a very cool kit that builds easy and flies perfectly straight every time. an A8-5 will put it to 300 feet and a C6-5 to over 1000 feet. great kit that is for everyone.

Striking Rocket Review by Gyes
One of the few medium-sized rockets, this kit has a really stylish look to it. The stabilizers on the fins and the engine cone are a nice touch. Construction is nice and straightforward. Be careful to test fit the fins into the engine mount before the glue sets on the mount; otherwise, the fins won't fit properly into the slots in the body. Don't underestimate how high this guy flies! With just a B engine and a calm day (at ground level, anyway), this rocket managed to drift 250 yards and get stuck in a tree. (Posted on 5/23/13)
Unique Skill 1 Kit Review by Gyes
Straightforward to build and paint, this rocket is a good choice for a mid-range skill 1 set. The fin design and engine mount are quite stylish, too. It doesn't fly as high as some of the smaller kits, but don't be fooled - even a B engine is big enough to send it up high enough so that its parachute descent will take it several hundred yards from the launchpad. I wouldn't try a C engine unless it was a perfectly calm day and you have a mile of space to work with. (Posted on 5/19/13)
Cool little bird Review by Mark
When I got back into rocketry after many years away, I got this with the launch set that also includes the Amazon. Classic Estes quality and construction. (Posted on 5/12/13)

Awesomest.... Review by Rocket Milan
Bought in Tandem kit. This is a really cool looking rocket once complete. This was a fun build and the first flight went great! (Posted on 12/22/12)
Great Little Rocket Review by Heuristocrat
We got this as part of the set and after losing the biggest one we have the medium and this little one. Of course little means higher! We have launched and recovered this one 3 times already with the C6 engine. It really goes! The only word of caution on this one is to make sure you have less than 5 mph winds. Even a little will push this rig 1/4 mile before it lands. We use a very big open field. (Posted on 9/4/12)
First and Favorite Review by Sam
This was my first rocket and I love every bit of it. From making it to flying it. It still amazes me every time we take it out, and over 15 launches to date. (Posted on 8/29/12)
Sweet Rocket! Review by Apalm
I got this rocket as part of the Tandem-X set, and in that set, it was great! It flies really well and the fins are pretty cool too. This rocket was really easy to build, which makes it a great introduction to skill level I rockets. It's really a great rocket, and cheap as well. (Posted on 7/2/12)
