Great 2 stage! Review by Mike

This was a fun 2 stage rocket to build. I love the simple, yet classy military look to this rocket. The fin shap and "ridges" that extend up the length of the main body add a subtle, yet impressive look to the rocket as a whole. Instructions are straight forward and easy to use. The D engines sent this rocket straight up, fast and high! Make sure you have enough room for recovery as this one gets a lot of altitude. (Posted on 1/13/12)

Conquering the Troposphere Review by Alphanut

I enjoyed building this model. Construction was straightforward and resulted in an impressive looking rocket. At the field I was busy admiring how serious it looked on the launch pad that I was startled when I heard my launch pad number come up - the countdown began at 5 and seconds later this majestic rocket was streaking skyward on a D12-0 then when it was already at significant altitude the pop and ignition of the second stage D12-5 drew further excitement from the crowd below as it continued its accent to the upper reaches of the visible troposphere. Seconds later the chute came into view and then applause. The Air Commander took (what seemed like) many minutes to come down. I’m not sure anything went any higher that day. Wow. (Posted on 9/1/11)

A Great Beginner 2 Stage Review by Andrew

This was my first 2 stage beginner rocket. I was happy with my choice because it is simple, yet requires some effort. The construction is clear with the directions. The paint job requires some masking, but it comes out great. With the nose cone changed from gray to silver, it looks like a real missile. (Posted on 8/8/11)
