Did Estes say you get a bonus original Mosquito free with the Mega???? What are you waiting for???? This was one of the most awesome rockets I ever launched in the original size, but the MEGA size is just that more impressive! This rocket comes with an 18-inch parachute just like my other favorite, the Big Bertha. In my book, any rocket with an 18-inch parachute is the perfect size rocket for any launch anywhere. If you are in a small field and afraid the wind would carry it away, just cut out the center circle to bring it back a bit faster. Truly, this is an absolute classic from Estes!!!! Man, if you like big rockets, with big sound from a big engine... and you like rockets that fly true to great altitude... This is your baby! Three fins are not hard to glue in place and there is not much more to do to construct. Yet, it's a super performer off the launch pad and it's not so small you won't see it on the way up! I enjoy flying this one at club launches. Easy to see, and very stable. I have had two issues that I have gladly fixed on this model; I replaced the shock cord with around the motor mount kevlar string, and replaced the standard body tube with thick wall 2.6" tubing. these will ensure many reliable launches of one of My favorites! BIG rocket, BIG fun! Review by Mike

I recently built this dynamic duo. These are both great rockets and impressive in their own rite. The mosquito was a very simple, easy build. This thing flys great, goes up like a shot, and is just about as hard to see at apogee as a real mosquito. Keep your eyes on this one! FUN little rocket. The Mega Mosquito was a great build. The through the wall fin design is GREAT!! The laminated fins add some serious strength to this sweet rocket. This was a fun build and the launch was great!
