Great kit to sharpen your skills Review by Mark
If you are tired of conventional designs, this kit should get you excited. Requires some advanced skills but, take your time and you will be rewarded with a beautiful rocket. By all means, get one. (Posted on 5/9/13)
Back to my younger years Review by danny
As a teenager I loved building Estes rockets. I was in the hobby store and found the isle that had them. I picked up a few but wanted a good one to get back in to the build. I found one good one in this rocket. Took me longer then I thought but it is just what I wanted in a Estes.Qcc Exp Fly"s great. (Posted on 3/19/13)
Great build! Review by Zipmeister
I am from the old school rocket BP (Before Plastic) I built all of them as a kid..Mercury Redstone (escape tower), Mars Lander, Saturn 1B, Saturn V, I even had the Camroc. I gotta tell you it is nice to see a rocket with wood that you have to really build. Building is the best part for me. This rocket you have to build. I like that... (Posted on 2/3/13)
Well worth the building effort! Review by Tarasdad
The QCC Explorer is a complex kit that builds into a great looking rocket. It does require some more advanced building skills to assemble the intake pods due to their complex shape. Building the intakes and then filling and sanding them is easily 90% of time involved in the kit. Seeing the rocket taking shape as the build progresses makes all the time and effort worthwhile! Great kit Review by Rktbldr921
I mostly build and fly HPR, but this kit is great. I was hoping that it would be a little more challenging than it was, but am thinking of upscaling it. Possilby 8" diameter. (Posted on 11/30/12)
Great looking Review by Paul
This is such a great looking rocket. Need to take time in the build as it is a little challenging but one of the better looking rockets around. I flew it with E9-8 a little bit susceptible to weather-cocking but had some dead straight flights that were incredible. Highly recommend!! (Posted on 11/25/12)
amazing Review by john
What an amazing rocket. We flew it 5 times and it was a different experience every time. This rocket was our first Level 4 and E engine. I highly recommend this rocket and the price is right. Our second flight it climbed straight as an arrow. Make sure your launch site is huge because if it catches the wind it really flies!

very fun build & cool flyer Review by williams
Love it. It is a little hard if you have not built one before, but if you pay attention to the instructions it will be a great build. Also a really cool flyer! (Posted on 8/11/12)
Just Awesome Review by bra392
My favorite rocket built so far. Only flown once because i would like to hang on to it. Looks amazing in the collection. (Posted on 6/14/12)
Fun Review by David
This rocket took me a few days to build, but it was fun! I have built 6 rockets, each one became increasingly difficult to build. This was by far a fun rocket! Buy it! (Posted on 6/4/12)
