Since I worked on the Saturn V engines I loved building the kit. The first flight was fantastic. The molded tail fins are very light weight and did not hold up on landing impact. I used the larger Aerotech E20-4W motor. It was spectacular! (Posted on 12/21/11)

This looks awesome. I just came back from the Kennedy Space Center where they have a former Saturn V on display in its huge, majestic form. From what I can tell, this looks just as awesome in many ways. My kids want to build this immediately, but we're working our way up to being able to build this the right way. I agree with the other testimonial - with the retirement of the space shuttle we need more commemorative rockets like this one to help keep history alive in our, and our children's, memories. I hope similar commemorative models are on Estes' drawing board (preferably at different skill levels) (Posted on 11/30/11)
