This rocket really does blast off! I enjoyed it, it was cheap (as in money-wise), but still worked great! You can put engines a few levels up from the precaustious engine level just for a bit more height. Thanks for reading my opinion! (Posted on 7/31/12)

It goes pretty high on a B engine. It's pretty cool. My son wanted this because he said he didn't have any time to build a rocket, so he just got this and he loves it. Goes high, does go far from the launch pad (Posted on 7/13/12)

I got a few rockets for my eight year old son this Christmas. Its his first time and this rocket was our first launch.rocket launched and recovered threw multi A and B engines. Went pretty high on the B's. We steped it up to Cs and on the first C launch parachute failed to deploy and nose did not fall off BUT rocket raced down back to ground. While trying to recover it we almost gave up till we saw a little yellow close to the ground. Rocket landed straight into the soft earth. Pulled it out 5 inches and the amazing thing is the rocket had no damage. Launched fine a few mins later on Cs again and boy does it soar. This rocket is great and has done about 8 launches and will do more in the near future. I would not launch this on Cs if there is wind you may have a hard recovery. We launched on 2mph clear day and rocket returned not far launch pad. (Posted on 1/7/12)

Our Cub Scout pack holds a couple of rocket launches over the summer. This rocket was awesome for introducing my son to model rockets. It was very easy for him to build with little to no help from me. We had a blast launching this rocket with our pack. (Posted on 8/2/11)

I purchased this rocket for my kids and we have done about 10 launches and it still looks brand new. If you take it to max height, it helps to put red talc powder in the parachute to help follow it during final stage. It also helps to cut a small hole in the parachute to help with decent and minimal drift during the process (Posted on 4/2/11)
