I chose this bulk pack for our Cub Scout den & the boys loved it! It's construction is oh so simple & straightforward that we built all of ours in one hour. I had considered the Alpha bulk pack, because I'm a huge fan of that rocket and the basic building techniques you can develop with it. However, I decided that fin alignment might be a little too advanced for a group of eight year olds and picked this one due to its plastic fin unit. The performance of this rocket is tried and true, even on our small field. All flights were straight as an arrow and landed close to the pad. My only complaint with the kit is that, in my opinion, the shock cord is too short. I replaced all of the ones in our bulk pack with 36" of 1/8" elastic. (Posted on 5/4/12)

I had to order this bulk pack for a 4-H club and I am really happy with the rockets. For first time builders or those just learning how to do rockets, this worked great. Very easy to assemble and no fuss. (Posted on 7/1/11)
