This was my first rocket kit. I got it for X-mas. SO much fun. My rocket lost it's fin but I had fun anyway. With the bigger engines they went VERY high. This made rocketry a new hobby of mine and now I'm getting a new rocket. I give this 10 out of five stars. (Posted on 1/1/12)

Great way to start on the custom path Review by Robert

I opened the box and my kids immediately started to review the different rocket options and debate which we'll build. Love the flexibility in the configurations. When we're done, we'll use the extra parts, buy some additional parts and build other rockets. Decals are good but we took the opportunity to go to a sticker store to get alternative stickers for decaling. We haven't finished the first build yet but my kids are already thinking about what they want to do next as they get creative. The additional launch pad is a plus but is more of an "icing on the cake." (Posted on 11/29/11)

The instructions are incredibly easy to follow. Make sure you read through them carefully, and study each of the possible 64 custom model rocket plans. Dry-assemble as directed. I ended up assembling rocket 64, which stands over 3.5' tall. No matter what custom rocket(s) you choose to build, you'll have a blast (literally!) and have parts to spare for future custom projects. Plus, a launch pad/ignition control box comes with this kit. The perfect way to get into or, in my case, back into this hobby! (Posted on 4/25/11)
