I decided to take the plunge and purchase some of the various guides stocked by Estes. This marking guide is great for measuring and marking on a range of tubes, and lets face it results in much straighter lines than the old doorframe method. Very happy with these and a steel at the price. Now I just need one to fit a 4" tube. (Posted on 4/12/12)

Works great for straight lines and setting up fin placement. The fin gluing guide is a problem with smaller body tubes and certain fin sizes. (Posted on 9/26/11)

Everyone needs this set Review by Wayne

I bought this set of tools about 15 years ago, when I started building rockets again. I use it with amlost every build, especially when I build rockets from scratch. I use it to mark for cutting tubes, fin and launch lug placement, and to hold a tube when gluing fins. I even use the fin marking guides as stands for works in progress. I just wish it included BT-56 and BT-70 guides. Still, it's a must-have. (Posted on 9/22/11)
