I've been wanting to try the D12 engine for a while, but never had an appropriate model for them. I have plenty of models in the 1/4A-C range and a big, burly model that takes G engines but nothing in between. So I finally built something in the appropriate size and weight range for this engine. This engine has fantastic flights! A louder roar than the C6 with what seemed like a longer burn. In fact the first flight seemed like the thrust phase just kept going and going! Excellent tracking smoke helped me keep track of where the rocket was. In short, think of this engine as giving you a mid-power flight profile at model prices! I highly recommend getting a model that can use this motor. (Posted on 2/7/12)
