I've used this in place of the A8-3 in very light models. Sometimes the 3 second delay isn't enough and the chute comes out while its still ascending. Even though its classed as an "upper stage" engine, if your model is very light or has great aerodynamic properties that can take advantage of a long coast, give this motor a try. (Posted on 10/20/11)
